Meet the Mitac Mio A701
Will integrating GPS into Pocket PC's be the new standard? If so, the GPS-integrated Mitac Mio A701 is helping set that standard.

This small and light device was on display at the 3GSM Conference in Barcelona this week to promote it's anticipated European release in March. The Mitac, originally announced in August 2005, is adhearing to another PPC standard: it missed its original December 05 release date.

Here are some Mitac Mio A701 details: Windows Mobile PPC 5.0 Phone Edition - GSM 900/1800/1900 - Integrated GPS - TFT touchscreen, 65K colors, 320 x 240 pixels, 41 x 54 mm - Handwriting recognition - 5 way navigation key - Card slot MMC/SD - Intel PXA270 520 MHz CPU - Data GPRS Class 10 (4+1/3+2 slots), 32 - 48 kbps - Bluetooth v1.2 - Infrared - Camera 1.3 MP, 1280x960 pixels, video - Java MIDP 2.0
