Hey guys.
Yet again, I need your help. I've spent the past hour googling this issue, but I cannot seem to find an answer. So I tried installing this dictionary-thesaurus app on my phone. About half way through the program's installer it tells me my phone has no more room left. It never asked me for a location to install it blink.gif ... so anyway, now my "Device Storage" is at 100% with 8.18MB. How in the world do I clear this ? I have absolutely no text messages, IE cache or anything. I've been trying to find the temp files with the file explorer, but the folder is empty.
Btw how do I do a hard reset ? All the guides say "hold blue key and power for a few seconds". But that just shuts off my phone. And if it's off, it asks me if I want to do a hard reset.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

When it asks you if you want to do a hard reset, select Yes. That will hard reset your phone.

I am such a dumbass ! Sorry, I was posting at 3:30 am. What I meant instead of "hard reset" was "soft reset" ...

A soft reset on a Smartphone is just power cycling the phone, turning it off and back on. When you say your Device Storage is 100%, do you mean 100% full or 100% available?

Without having my MPx200 in front of me (my sister-in-law is using it), it is a little hard to give exacty folder locations, but you should try to find the Program Files folder and see if dictionary program left a bunch of files in it.

Well, a hard reset is probably the easiest way to fix it, but if you don't want to do that yet I would just look through pretty much every folder on the device until you find what's taking up your memory.

A hard reset may be the only way. Honestly, that's what I would, and have, done in that situation.

That's why I recommend buying Sprite Backup. You can create a backup of the phone when it's working, then if you have to hard reset you can restore from the backup without having to set it all up again.

You don't have to do a hard reset when the installation is interupted. Try to find the install folder in storage/windows/appmgr. It contains all cab files send to phone via exe instalation files. I assume the cab file for dictionary is pretty big, and also the installation, so it corrupted the whole storage memory, and you couldn't do anything. I see I'm a bit late to help you, but hope I helped you for the future problems like this.
