Okay, what am I doing wrong. I have gone to a contact and recorded the Voice Tag, I save it and the phone says that the voice tag has been assigned and saved. In order to make a Voice Tag call, you are told to open the phone "unflip" and press the Voice Tag button (lower left) for two seconds, wait for the beep and say the "voice tag". The only thing that happens if I hold the button is that a window will open titled notes and I will have a record and menu soft button options. If I let go of the button and press again, I can start recording a message. All I want to do is make a Voice Tag call, can someone tell me what I am doing wrong ... thanks

Not sure where you got your info from, but you have it backwards. Just "tap" the lower left button and you will be prompted to speak your voice tag. As you discovered, that is a multi-function button with the long press being a voice notes shortcut, which is what you are opening. Don't follow the instructions on the Cingular Users Guide, Cingular Owners Manual or Cingular On Line Help, they are all diffrent and all wrong AND whatever you do, don't call Cingular for assistance ... they asked me to repeat my number three times, asked me four times what kind of phone I had, kept wanting to give me the tech support number for Nokia, I kept saying Voice Tag, they kept repeating Voice Mail (IMG:https://mobilegadgetnews.com/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:https://mobilegadgetnews.com/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:https://mobilegadgetnews.com/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) AND I SPEAK ENGLISH VERY WELL, maybe can't spell, but I can communicate verbally.
