I couldn't believe it. I walked into my Circuit City today just to browse around and see what they had. When I get to the PDA section, I notice an odd looking ipaq on display. It was at this moment that the sales person came, and noticed me looking at it. He confirmed that this model has not yet been released, but told me that they had gotten them in stock anyway. He also told me that they have already sold one, and are allowed to sell more according to their regional office. It is a pretty cool little device. Anyone else have these showing up at their Circuit City prior to release?

I went to my local store last night and the clerk tried to tell me that there was no such think coming. He told me that he watches this stuff pretty close and he would have heard of it. I handed him my MGN business card and walked out without saying another word. Wow. I love it when people tell me that I don't know what I'm talking about.

That is pretty fun. I like hanging out around the PDA section and waiting for someone to ask the question "what is the difference between the Palm and Pocket PC" just to hear the clerk's answer. It is always a very funny, usually wrong, answer.

I used to have the E800, but now they come out with SE_VGA for SE and now pist I sold the machine since battery sucks A S S.

I used to work for CompUsa and as soon as they would get something new in, it was fair game!! Now I work for HP and can see the frustrations with selling it early --- PS- those poor support guys really love it when they get a call on an "unreleased" product!
