Well I dropped my HTC 8X (Verizon) and broke the screen glass . Unlike the iPhone (I use on Sprint) the 8X is not an easy repair. I called my local phone repair guy (that replaced both sides of my iPhone) and he said he will not work on the HTC 8X. Apparently they glue the glass in and there is no great fix back to original, at least by the repair guys. I like my SurfacePro Windows8 machine but the 8X is now retired.

Have the new HTC One 8X - very nice phone and much better than my previous 8x. For me I like it over the iPhone.
