Okay - so I cracked open the box of my new Qtek 8310, popped in the sim card and got to work. Nice little unit. First time with Windows Smartphone. Came from a Sony P910.

I load active sync (and update to 4.1) and attempt to sync via USB. NOTHING. I try Bluetooth. The laptop and the phone see each other... we're off to a good start I think... NOPE. No sync there either.

I keep getting an error that says ACTIVESYNC ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM ON THE DESKTOP - ERROR #85010014

I like to think I'm FAIRLY competent with such things, but to not be able to sync with USB??? Yike? What am I doing wrong? Help?

I would get the USB sync going before trying a BT sync.
