I just purchased a unlocked T-Mobile SDA.

Does anyone know and can point me to a link with the Cingular CAB settings for it ?

Thank you !

I haven't tested our cingular CAB out on a WM5 phone but it might work. It can be uninstalled using the Program Remove menu. I guess I should test this out maybe tonight.

see this Cingular CABs

One,

I tested installed the GPRS CAB on a WM5 phone and it set up correctly. I do not have Cingular Service so I could not test the connection. The T-Mobile T-Zones CAB works great. The registry settings are in the same place as WM2003. If you want to remove the settings just go to Remove Programs and it will be in the menu.

Let us know how you like the SDA on Cingular.

Hey Abatis,

Thanks for the link/file. I also have an unlocked T-Mobile SDA (Using with AT&T/Cingular) and the settings seemed fine after I installed it.

However, I'm a little perplexed. Is there still such a thing as WAP on the SDA? It seems that I cannot use 'WAP' to get online...let alone Wi-Fi (intermittently). It seems that the only time that I can get online is when using ActiveSync. However, as soon as the cables are off, the internet is dead.

Any ideas?

The WAP settings should've been installed by the aCAB file. Try going into IE and changing the Options/Connection to WAP Network or The Internet and variations of the Automatically Detect Settings checkbox being checked or unchecked. That can make all the difference, just try all the variations and see if any work.

One way to tell if it is the CAB settings or the IE settings is trying a different program, like MSN Messenger or Messaging, that needs an internet connection. Try one of those (if you can) and see if they work. If so, it is the IE settings. If not, it is probably the CAB settings.
