By now, you may know that I just got a KJam (HTC Wizard, WM5) to replace my Audiovox SMT5600 (HTC Typhoon, WM2003SE). I love me KJam. Here's the problem: I can't sync with my work Outlook via the "recommended" ActiveSync 4.1. Firewall tweaks that I do not control are standing in the way, I believe. I'm getting the dreaded "Device Not Connected" or the eternally-spinning green wheel. Funny thing is, my 5600 syncs just fine to 4.1 (as it had on 3.7). So it's a WM5 thing. Great.

Let's hope 4.2 addresses this and loosens the leash on device recognition. I'm not one of those people that have made it trendy to bash MS at any opportunity, as their products have always served me quite well. Perhaps I just never knew the difference because I always had a positive experience, i.e. NO problems.

But, my how times have changed... let's hope this gets corrected.
