So, I'm in the process of rebuilding my Wizard and I was going over my reg hacks and I couldn't believe I missed mentioning this one that allowed you to see the status of your Caps/Shift or Symbol button by way of displaying an indicator on the Input Tray.
Open up a Registry Editor of your choice Go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Keybd Create a new DWORD entry with the name EnableIndicator and assign a value of 1 This change does not go into effect until you complete that change and perform a soft reset. Now when you use the built-in keyboard, a status indicator will be available on the Input tray displaying either a "dot" to indicate the Symbol key is active or the letter "C" meaning Caps/Shift key is active.
